£766 raised for Essex and Herts Air Ambulance!

We took part in a special fundraising day last term in support of Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, with everyone dressing in red or yellow clothing. Throughout the day, pupils learned about the vital role the Air Ambulance and other emergency services play in helping those in need.

Pupils explored how and when to call for help in an emergency, discussed the importance of first aid, and took part in a range of practical and creative activities. These included making model air ambulances, practising first aid skills on teddy bears, and creating their own first aid kits.

Thanks to the everyone's generosity of our school community, raising an incredible £766 and alongside fundraising efforts from other schools within our partnership, this initiative will help provide a shared set of first aid manikins that can be used to teach children essential lifesaving skills.
