Children's Mental Health Week 2026
Just before half term pupils across the entire school took part in a wide range of activities to celebrate Children’s Mental Health Week and our special Wellbeing Day.
Throughout the week, pupils enjoyed getting creative both indoors and outdoors, taking part in mindful art, yoga sessions, and activities that encouraged them to think about the importance of belonging. Pupils created thoughtful ‘belonging maps’, mood boards, and other artwork that helped them reflect on the people, places, and times that make them feel happy and comfortable.
Wellbeing day on Wednesday was especially enjoyable, with pupils dressed in comfortable clothes, moving around different classrooms to try out a variety of calming and confidence‑boosting activities. These included mindfulness colouring, parachute games, Chinese lantern making, origami tulips, music, painting, mosaic artwork and even paper aeroplanes.
