Herts and Essex Science Fair - Winners!

A few weeks ago, lots of our KS2 pupils were working hard to put together projects to enter the Herts and Essex High School Virtual Science Fair. In total, 181 projects were submitted from local schools, 16 of which came from Epping Primary pupils.

Firstly, well done to everyone who participated in this competition and have had their tremendous efforts displayed within the virtual fair.

We can now say a huge congratulations to our two winning teams!  To Theo (Birch) for 3rd place in the Innovating and Creativity category, and to Lyla, Alice and Ava (Alder) for coming 1st place in the Research category!

The Year 6 team said that 'the best thing about entering the Science Fair is being able to choose your own subject to investigate' and our Year 5 winner told us 'anyone is capable of having a go and it is lots of fun too!'

If you want to find out about Non Newtonian Fluids in Action, or if you want to answer 'Is It Possible to Create Artificial Rain?' then we recommend you look at the presentations below!
