Reading Volunteers Wanted
We are currently looking to recruit some new Reading Volunteers to help support our pupils with their reading.
.Before commencing the role of a Reading Volunteer, volunteers are required to attend three training sessions which will cover information on; the progression of reading skills, the art of good questioning, how to develop a child’s reading skills, phonics, spellings and many other aspects of reading. These sessions will hopefully provide volunteers with all the information they need to support them in their role and to ultimately help our pupils learn to read.
