Year 5 Planetarium Workshop

Year 5 had an exciting visit from the planetarium today! Ash and Birch pupils stepped inside the inflatable dome and were taken on a fascinating journey through space, exploring the stars, planets and constellations. They learned about the solar system, watched the night sky come to life and asked some brilliant questions. 

They also took part in a workshop where they learnt more about the planets, meteorites and they were even able to handle fragments of rock from the moon and Mars!

We were very proud of our pupils' attitude and behaviour, and received very positive feedback from our visitor.
