Year 6 at The British Museum - in pictures

Alder and Sycamore had a fantastic time at the British Museum on the 8/11. Despite a rather wet walk to the station, we enjoyed using the underground although the general public didn't seem keen to sit in our carriage!

At the museum, we visited the galleries showing us Greek, Egyptian and Chinese artefacts. This was to tie in with our new topic of Ancient Civilisations. We especially enjoyed the Egyptian mummies: 'to think we were looking at things that were touched and made by people 3000 years ago was astonishing.'

Both Year 6 teachers were impressed by the pupils behaviour and would like to thank the adults who came and helped.
