"How will my child be able to contribute their views?"

  • Pupil voice is very important at Epping Primary School. Pupils are encouraged to share their ideas and views by joining our School Council and Eco Council.
  • Pupils with SEND are consulted regarding the information included in their PLP (personalised learning plan).  The Class Teacher, LSA or Inclusion Manager will meet with them and discuss the information they feel is most important for others to know about them.
  • Pupils have a say regarding their outcomes and what steps they feel they need to have to meet their outcomes. They also comment on their Personal Learning Plan, explaining what helps them learn and what they would like to change.
  • Where appropriate, pupils are encouraged to attend their One Plan meetings and share their views. When this is not appropriate, the pupil's views are collected beforehand and shared within the meeting to ensure the pupil’s voice has been included.
